My apologies for that but life (aka my full time job) has been extremely busy lately and, unfortunately, sometimes things get put aside. {FASHION} Vegas during Halloween weekend. Took a quick mini trip to Las Vegas to celebrate two of my dear friends Denise and Christina's bachelorettes and it also just-so-happened to be Halloween weekend. {BEAUTY} Face mask addiction. One of my favorite weekly rituals is unwinding on Sundays with a face mask. It's a part of my own self care activity to treat myself out. I recently received these macaron colored Nugg face masks and love how portable they can be - perfect to take on the go with trips! I've tried the anti-aging mask so far and it was quite moisturing and there was enough product to use 2 different times (ended up doing a mask again the next day). Guess what? {FOOD} Dining at the Walt Disney Family Museum Gala hosted by Neil Patrick Harris (yes, you heard that right!) with my little sisteroo Susan. Last week we had the incredible honor to attend the #wdfm gala inside the Disney Californian Hotel at Downtown Disney. The night included cocktail hour, live auctions, a 3 course dinner, and musical performances, and surprise celebrity guests. WOW does not even begin to describe how the night went. I mean, it was hosted by the Neil Patrick Harris (any other fellow HIMYM show lovers out there?!) and it truly felt like we were dining at the Oscars or Emmy's. He's seriously so talented and all the performances made the night even more magical. Definitely one of the best galas I've ever been to and was one for the books. Events like these are what makes me so thankful to have a blog and for all the unbelievable opportunities that may come from it.

{TRAVEL} A quick trip to Joshua Tree. I'm all about easy vacations to escape from the everyday routine and experience something new. Just the other weekend, Mr. T and I took a mini getaway to Joshua Tree (our first time!) for a 1-nighter (that's what happens/what's available when you book it 1 week in advanced). We've never used Airbnb before and found this super cute 2 bedroom home in the desert. From the cozy decor to the splash of colors throughout the house, we instantly fell in love with "The Hideout" in Joshua Tree! If you're planning a trip out here anytime soon, we highly recommend this affordable place. The service was great and they have a wide selection of teas for guests. So come snuggle up to a nice warm cup and enjoy the simple desert life. #staycation #LuuTravels

{LIFE} Dining for a cause. During the month of October, Lucky Strike Lanes at the Outlets at Orange participated with the Susan G. Komen "More Than Pink" campaign. Mr. T and I were provided with a $50 gift card to Lucky Strike Lanes and ended up making a date night out of it. I mean, bowling and dining is the recipe for an entertaining night out, right? And so it surely was!
