What a big week in food celebrations...

[RELAXATION MODE] Glee Donuts & Burgers from Fountain Valley. Nothing quite starts a nice, relaxing weekend morning like some yummy donuts and a good read. Diane Von Furstenburg's "The Woman I Wanted to Be" is such an inspirational piece! If you haven't heard her amazing story, you need to get this book asap ($26 to buy it HERE). #dvf
[MEDIA TASTING] Wursthaus hot dogs carries exotic sausages, a variety of sauces and unique beverages. The boyfriend and I attended Wursthaus media night on Thursday (thanks Ajenda PR!) to pre-celebrate their 1 year anniversary happening now! For just today, they are promoting a "Bring a Brat, Get a Brat" where you can buy 1 hot dog and get 1 for FREE (how sweet is that?!) from 5PM to midnight (see above flyer for details). Get the duck wrapped in bacon and jalepeno on a pretzel bun for a little spicy kick. YUMS.
[MARKET RUN] Trader Joe's in Newport Beach (across Crystal Cove State Park). On one of our outings the other weekend, we ventured out to Newport Beach/Laguna Beach area with our Boston terrier dog Truffles. It was here first time at the beach (hehe)! Afterwards, we walked to the shopping center across the street for a quick market run at Trader Joe's. Now I know they have a lot of good snacks here but their great flower selection always makes me stop and stare. Does this happen to anyone else? What treats do you usually like to get here? Any snacks I must try out? Do share and thanks!

[PAMPERING] Black Files Nails in Fountain Valley. I've been hearing about Black File Nails and wanted to check it out so when my girls Victoria, Alexa, and Fia wanted to go, I was totally down for that! The inside decor is super chic and fancy with white throne-like chairs and neon lights (did you see it on my Snapchat: kimberly_luu?). I mean, what other nail place serves you wine while you're being pampered right? Umm, yes please! I went with gel polish for a clean black and white style and added varying lines and polka dots to give it a fun twist (thanks Diana for the design!). Just FYI, I got my mani done over 2 weeks ago and my gel manicure is still going strong! WOW, I am impressed as even past gel mani's wouldn't last this long. So if you're looking for a hip new place, come here!#ATK5Faves
