When we first arrived to Barcelona, Spain we were hungry to explore...
I mean, Madrid was wonderful - more country like where you felt like one of the locals (HERE) - but Barcelona definitely stepped it up a notch. The city is a bit more tourist centered but there were still so many great things about it. After eating the popular jamon (ham) in Madrid for multiple days, I was happy to discover more food options in Barcelona (thank goodness!). The first thing we ate? Fresh fruit popsicles and boy, oh boy, were they refreshing! I got the watermelon sandia and it totally hit the spot. The weather, though, was heating up and since we were so anxious to do some sight seeing right away, I wanted a relaxed and comfortable look. So I went with a striped Rolla Coster Clothing top, Levi's shorts, and Volcom flats. Just the basic California style, in Spain. That's all.
{FASHION TIP: A striped top is a perfect travel piece that can pair with anything from denim to skirts!)
