Well here it is! The debut of my new hair 'do that just so happens to match my outfit...
Can you believe it? My hair is purple (in that Kate Hudson voice from the hilarious movie Bride Wars, although hers was blue but you get the point)! Last week I went to Verakai Salon in Costa Mesa to see my girlfriend Scarlet for my annual hair session. With my upcoming Spain trip at the end of this month, I wanted something different but also fun. I'm usually more on the "safe" side when it comes to my hair but I thought I'd venture out a bit and throw in some color. Why not, right? It's only temporary. Given that purple is my favorite color, I just had to go with it. And, funny enough, it just so happened to match with this outfit perfectly. Even with the light lavender Clover Cloth tank from the swag bags at my OC Bloggers Denim Party I hosted last week (recap coming soon)! For this hair style, Scarlet cut off about 3-4 inches and darkened my hair so the purple panels would show more. It definitely feels lighter and looks healthier. Change is always good and it was about time.
Speaking of changes, I got a new pair of Polette glasses! In case you haven't heard yet Polette is an online optician that carries a variety of factory priced eyewear with frames from $9.99 - $49.99 and lenses from $9.99 - $89.99. I am just loving their selection of frames and how they fit it to my prescription with the tinted lens. It seriously is the best thing ever! I don't even get a pair of glasses without the photochromatic option now. Trust me. Life will be so much better.
{HAIR TIP: Pastel hair colors requires more maintenance and lasts about 2-3 weeks so keep that in mind.}
Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day weekend and ready for another fun-filled week ahead! I'll be sharing some exciting changes with you soon.
